Fire symbolises transformation and regeneration as the old burns away to make way for the new, a fresh start if you will. The image of the phoenix rising from the ashes is compelling and inspiring. All at once fire can be active and dynamic, but also dangerous and it may even lie dormant in waiting. It can be a symbol of life, warmth, and light, but also death, blistering heat, and uncontrolled wild destruction.
Spiritually, a flame can represent energy, passion, desire, or awakening. In many cultures fire represents wisdom.
